The 'iPhone 8' Could Reportedly Feature An Apple Watch Like Stainless Steel Frame
The “iPhone 8” frame could look similar to the stainless steel Apple Watch. That interesting tidbit is from Japanese blog Macotakara.
A bit thicker
A possible look at the next-generation iPhone 8.
The stainless steel frame would hold together a front and rear glass plate.
Another interesting bit of information from the blog is that the cameras on the “iPhone 8” could be oriented vertically. When used with possible augmented reality features, the cameras would be positioned in the usual horizontal format.
Instead of being curved like the Samsung Galaxy S8, the handset’s OLED would be flat with slightly curved sides. That’s much like the current generation iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Also, the handset will apparently be a bit thicker than previous generations.
