Keep all of your memories in an iOS scrapbook
me.time - My Little Memory Box
Flava is a simple and gorgeous app that acts more like a digital scrapbook than a diary or journal. Users are able to create free accounts to keep their data in sync while creating media-rich entries that contain text, photos, video, links, what they're watching or listening to, and more. The entire process for adding new entries is easy, and the visual tags make it more fun to store memories in. Scrapbooking has never looked better.
Visual tags. It seems that every journal app lets you use tags to organize your entries so that it's not just limited to a single folder or notebook. While the text tags work, sometimes you just want to go for a more visual approach to things, right? I mean, there are people out there who work better visually rather than just hearing or reading, so why shouldn't that apply to tags too? Fortunately, Flava has got your back. Tag each entry with visual tags that match the weather, your mood, and even activity or event. These visual tags also act as filters so you can easily find entries that match exactly what you're looking for, even if it isn't a keyword.
Text and media together. The magic of Flava is the fact that it is more of a digital scrapbook than just a diary or journal. Even if you've never done scrapbooking in your life, don't worry — it's simple enough for anyone to understand and do. Just create a new entry by adding in some text, give it a title, and then add all the fun goodies! You can add up to 10 images in a single post, up to one video clip (it gets compressed for space), add some music, reveal the movie or TV show you're watching, add some audio clips, or throw in a fun URL into it! Once that's done, choose a view for how the entry appears in your timeline. Scrapbooking that is easy as pie!
Find and view what you want. Flava is your digital scrapbook, so it can become a bit cluttered as you accrue entries in your book. However, don't fret — it's easy to get what you want in Flava. As mentioned, you can use the visual tags as filters to view all entries that have a particular tag. But sometimes that isn't enough. Flava does have full body text search so you can find keywords, and viewing entries is a beautiful affair. You get to see all of the included media in the top section, and the text underneath with all of your visual tags. And don't forget where you've been thanks to the automatic geolocation tagging information that the app pulls from images if you don't enter it manually.
What is it about?
Flava is more of a digital scrapbook than your typical journal or diary app. Users just need to create a free account to keep their data in sync across multiple devices, and then the magic begins. Create media-rich entries with photos, video, what you're watching or listening to, links, and visual tags to keep everything organized. Choose how entries appear in the main timeline, which can lead to a fun and unique look when you go back and revisit memories. Flava is scrapbooking made easy.
