Apple Increases Shipping Estimates For White iPhone 4 To Five Days In Many Countries

Apple has increased shipping estimates for the white iPhone 4 in several countries. Now, in many countries the handset is dispatching in "five business days," as opposed to "three to five."
In a press release that hit the Web on Wednesday, Apple announced the availability of the white iPhone 4. The handset had previously been delayed sine June. However, Apple fans rejoiced yesterday when the white iPhone 4 went on sale in many countries around the world.
Initially, shipping estimates for the white handset were three to five days. However, in many countries - including the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Ireland - this estimate has increased to five business days.
In the U.S., the estimate remains at three to five business days - for now.
