Rovio's "Mighty Eagle" Peter Vesterbacka recently confirmed that the company's Angry Birds games are downloaded more than one million times each and every day. The news was delivered at the Mobile 2.0 Europe - openIDEAS Conference, several days ago.
This isn't the first time Angry Birds has impressed us with stats: The application itself has been downloaded well over 200 million times, and its users reportedly spend 200 million minutes a day killing pigs, soaring through the air and enlisting the help of the Mighty Eagle.
Part of the series' success is the amount of Angry Birds applications that are currently available - besides the classic iPhone and iPad apps, we've also got Seasons and Rio, along with the countless updates each and every app near-continuously receives. Also, let's not forget that the games are available on many platforms besides the iOS, too.
Here's to many more updates, and many more downloads. In the meantime, let us know if you're an Angry Birds fan in the comments.
