Glassboard 2.0 Introduces New Navigation And News Feed Experience Across The Board

From one "board" to another, let's now turn our attention to Sepia Labs' Glassboard. Like Flipboard, Glassboard has been updated recently with welcome improvements.
But first, what is Glassboard? Some of you may not know about Glassboard as much as you do about the very popular Flipboard, but not to worry. Sepia Labs co-founder Brent Simmons has the uninitiated covered with his succinct explanation of the idea behind Glassboard:
In case you’re not familiar with Glassboard, here’s the deal: what Pair is to the bedroom, and Path is to the rec room, Glassboard is to the boardroom. (Hence “board” in the name. “Glass” refers to your phone’s screen.)Glassboard prides itself on its focus on boardroom-like privacy. But that is not to say that the app is suitable for use with your co-workers only. To be sure, Glassboard can be used with your select friends and family just as easily. The bulk of the 2.0 update to Glassboard comprises the app's new design, which includes a new navigation and news feed experience. This update makes Glassboard one of the latest apps to adopt the increasingly popular combination of a sidebar and horizontal card stacks in lieu of the standard group of bottom icons. We've seen this sort of interface in other widely used iPhone apps, including Facebook, Sparrow, and Remember The Milk, and it's nice to see it finally implemented in Glassboard. The other components of the Glassboard 2.0 update are the addition of file support, the inclusion of a photo and video gallery, and the improvement of the app's notifications. Designed for iPhone, the newly updated Glassboard is available in the App Store for free. Along with the update to the app, a companion Web app has also been released by Sepia Labs to make sharing stuff on your boards really easy, whether you're on the go or on your desk.
