Armor Games is bringing its hit Web game Flight! to the App Store on Thursday.
As the name suggests, the game has a simple, but fun, premise. Players attempt to throw a paper airplane as far as they can while collecting points and upgrades to decorate their flying machine.
Here’s a quick trailer for the game. Click here if you can’t see the video.
The game will feature new visuals, power-ups, and upgrades along with refined touch controls for both the iPhone and iPad.
Even though the developer is promising a polished-up version of the title for iOS devices, you can also get a taste for how to play the game by visiting here. Sadly, you must have Flash installed to play on the website.
Armor Games is well known for some of its other iOS titles like Kingdom Rush and Follow the Rabbit. Kingdom Rush, one of the best tower defense games I’ve played, recently made its move to the iPhone.
And the puzzle game Follow the Rabbit, released earlier this month, was praised by our own Lory Gil. She said the title is a win for pocket casual gaming.
I got the chance to play the Flash version of Flight!, and really liked it. I’m interested to see how it makes the transition over to iOS devices, especially the new iPad and its Retina display.
