Our readers are never shy about offering us suggestions, comments, and yes, the occasional criticism. Some also like to give us tips about iOS.
Case in point, two tips about iOS 6 that recently arrived from one of our readers.
Waze Maps Integration
First, there is new information on the legal page in the Settings app that proves that Apple is using
Waze technology in their new Maps app in iOS 6.
Waze, which remains in the App Store, offers community-based traffic and navigation.
iCloud Events Attachments
Our reader has also uncovered a nice new feature in the iCloud beta. Now, users are able to attach files to events in the beta Calendar via
beta.icloud.com. These attachments carry over to the Calendar app on iOS 6 iDevices. At least with iOS 6 beta 2, however, you cannot add an attachment to an event on the iPhone or iPad.
Hopefully this feature will be added in an upcoming beta release, and of course, to the final iOS 6 release coming to the public this fall.
Note: The iCloud events feature is only available to developers.
