All Hail The Golden Donkey In Worms For iPhone And iPad!

Both of the iPhone and iPad versions of the popular turn-based artillery game Worms have just been updated with several new, significant features.
Worms for iPhone and Worms HD for iPad have both gained Game Center and Facebook integration. Finally.
The game’s compatibility with Game Center allows for leaderboards and achievements, while its support for Facebook lets you display your progress on the social network site’s signature ticker.
In addition, five new speech-banks have landed onto the iOS game. These include Special-Ops, Fighter Pilot, and Sub Commander.
Furthermore, a new Forts mode and the Golden Donkey level skip option are now available in Worms for iOS.
Supporting local multiplayer only, the new Forts mode offers an even more strategic gameplay. It lets you choose from 16 forts for your all-out attack or base defense strategy.
As for the Golden Donkey, it’s a game utility akin to the Mighty Eagle in Angry Birds. The Golden Donkey enables you to skip difficult missions or get the five-star rating on levels that are already complete.
It’s quite tempting to just use the Golden Donkey to get you through the trickier missions and levels in Worms. But bear in mind that, apart from being available via in-app purchase, the Golden Donkey may only be used once every hour.
Worms for iPhone and Worms HD for iPad are available now in the App Store for $0.99 each. Their latest versions are, of course, free for existing players.
