ChooseMyFunction 2.0 Jailbreak Tweak Is A Shortcut App With A Difference

August 1, 2012
Are you the kind of jailbreaker who loves making life simpler, and creating shortcuts? Though some iOS shortcuts can be created jailbreak-free, others - like Lock screen shortcuts, for example - require a jailbreak tweak to be installed. One new package to recently launch in the Cydia Store is version 2.0 of ChooseMyFunction, a tweak that places a customizable app icon on the Home screen. This app icon can do a huge number of different things. Touching it can respring the iDevice, for example, or it can launch the Messages app. ChooseMyFunction can also shortcut to a new email, Safe Mode, or a reboot. Exactly what the application icon does is up to you: customization takes place in the Settings app, where users can configure how they'd like ChooseMyFunction to work. Though this isn't the kind of jailbreak tweak I'd consider using on my iDevice, some jailbreakers might find it useful having ChooseMyFunction on their Home screen. For more information, take a look at the $1.50 tweak in the Cydia Store, or check out Jailbreak Nation's video walkthrough below.
