In Addition To Being iPhone 5-Ready, Path Now Lets You Import Moments From Other Popular Social Networks
September 22, 2012
By now, you may have already learned that Path has received an update that makes it one of, as Apple puts it, the “Amazing Apps on iPhone 5.” Not only is it optimized to work on iOS 6, it also looks good on the new iPhone’s taller screen. But that’s not all there is to the new version of the popular social networking app.
Indeed, the newly updated Path has a few more features that happen to be not exclusive to iPhone 5 and iOS 6 users.
Most notable among these is the ability to import data from Facebook, Instagram, and Foursquare.
Actually, this feature was introduced to the app through its last major update a couple of months ago. But it existed only as some sort of Easter egg that let new users begin using Path not with a blank slate but with updates imported from said social networks.
Now, though, this feature is available to all users, old and new alike. So if you want to populate your Path stream with “moments” taken from your Facebook, Instagram, and Foursquare accounts, just go to the settings menu to set up the import process.
Notice that the settings menu in general has had a makeover, letting you manage your profile and connections much easier.
Also featuring a better sharing screen and quicker photo library access, the new version of Path is available now in the App Store for free.
