New Font Types Added To Elegant Photo Captioning App Typic
October 30, 2012
Typic, a simple yet useful photo app for iPhone, has received another major update.
If you like overlaid captions on your photos, especially on your Instagram photos, then Typic is just your type of app.
Through an easy-to-use, step-by-step interface, Typic lets you lay elegant blocks of text onto your photos. The app comes with a number of options for fonts, filters, and frames.
The latest update to Typic actually adds more to these options.
The update offers seven new fonts, all of which are available in a single in-app purchase pack worth $0.99. Like the already existing set of seven fonts in the app, this new set is beautifully styled, too.
The update also includes three new buttons: for setting the text color to black, for removing the frame, and for starting over.
Also including general improvements and bug fixes, the new version of Typic is available now in the App Store for free.
The app has been optimized with iPhone 5 and iOS 6 support since its first major update. That update also brought the ability to move text and the ability to instantly share to Facebook, Twitter, and, of course, Instagram.
