This Update Will Remind You Just How Great Localscope Is

Already a great app, Localscope has once again been updated with more — for want of a better word — greatness.
Localscope is an iPhone app that, as its name suggests, offers a better look at locations.
Released nearly two years ago, Localscope has gone on to become one of the most popular location-based apps for iPhone. This is, by all accounts, attributed to its ability to present different types of geotagged information from various sources. These sources include the most widely used local search engines and social networks.
Now firmly set at version 3.0, Localscope is set to become even more popular with its users, especially those who are inclined to use location-aware reminders.
Thanks to the improved interoperability of the Reminders app in iOS 6, Localscope is now able to take advantage of your iOS 6-powered iPhone's reminders system.
What this basically means is that you can now add location-based reminders at any location you searched for or discovered using Localscope.
In addition, all location-based reminders from Reminders are automatically detected by Localscope, which then displays them as search and discovery sources.
This new feature paves the way for any number of location-specific activities. You can use it, for example, in creating a list of points of interest you wish to visit. Then, Localscope can alert you every time you come near any of those places.
