Following Gmail And YouTube, Google Shopper Gets Its Own Interface Upgrade
December 7, 2012
Google is on a roll lately with its updates for some of its iOS apps. Just a few days ago, both the Gmail and YouTube apps for iOS were updated with, most notably, new interface designs. And now, it's Google Shopper's turn to get a makeover.
Now at version 3.0, Google's popular e-commerce app features a redesigned interface that promises faster navigation. Unsurprisingly, the new interface bears a minimalist approach similar to that of the recently updated Gmail and YouTube apps.
The new interface also features larger images. The better to entice you with, of course.
In particular, the app now includes image-centric search results for, say, apparel and accessories.
And if you're on the lookout for special offers and retail promotions in your area, you can check out the app's new Sales screen by tapping the appropriate tab in the sidebar.
Furthermore, you can check out the newly integrated GoodGuide product ratings to help you make more informed buying decisions.
Designed for iPhone and iPod touch, but nonetheless compatible with iPad, Google Shopper is available in the App Store for free.
The app now also supports push notifications for new features and content.
