Krilliant! Whale Trail Gains New Challenge Levels With Speed, Stars And Space

Whale Trail, the endless "flyer" starring Willow the bubbly whale, has just received a major update.
This is the first major update to hit Whale Trail since the game, which was originally a $0.99 game devoid of an in-game store, went freemium in June last year.
As it went freemium, it introduced an in-game store and an in-game currency called Krill. Collectible as you play or purchasable as you pay, Krill may be spent to buy upgrades, power-ups, costumes, and friends for Willow.
As it happens, one of Willow's friends is none other than his childhood sweetheart, Wendy. And she now stars in the new challenge level pack that has just been added to Whale Trail through its latest update.
Containing 32 new challenge levels and unlockable for 400 Krill, the new pack lets you play as Wendy as she flies through her raceway in space.
The new levels are initially locked, but you can unlock them as you progress and earn stars. Alternatively, you can unlock all 32 levels at once through a $0.99 in-app purchase.
The new Whale Trail update also makes all challenge packs easier to unlock and fixes a start-up crash.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later, the new version of Whale Trail is available now in the App Store for free. A more kid-friendly version of the game called Whale Trail Junior is also available for free.
