For some reason, a bunch of "apps for couples" have just received their respective new updates. Of course, that "some reason" is none other than the fact that Valentine's Day is here. The apps in question are Couple (formerly Pair), Avocado, LoveByte, and Twyxt. How have these lovey-dovey apps been updated? Well, let me enumerate the ways. Let's start with Couple, which has just gained the ability to send "secrets." Juicy, huh? Secrets, as they apply to Couple, are private photos that only show when touched and held. Secrets can also be set to disappear after they are viewed. Sounds familiar? That's because it's the main feature of the popular sexting, I mean, "self-destructing" photo messaging app Snapchat, which also "inspired" Facebook Poke. Aside from secrets, Couple has gained the ability to easily save or delete multiple photos in Moments. As for Avocado, it's been updated with a new sketching feature. This feature lets you doodle with a variety of colors and draw on photos before sending them. You can even prettify your sketches with stickers, which you can also add to your sweetheart's photos. Typing indicators and read receipts for messages are also included in Avocado's latest update. And now we move on to LoveByte and Twyxt, both of whose updates are, so to speak, short and sweet. The former has received new notification tones, new Valentine's Day stickers, and a new gift store. The latter, for its part, has gained faster messaging, increased stability, integrated urgent message, and a tutorial.
