Scrobble Me This, Scrobble Me That: Major Update Comes To Last.fm's Scrobbler For iOS
February 12, 2013
A much improved scrobbling experience awaits you on your iDevice as Scrobbler for iOS has just received its first major update.
Released in December last year, Scrobbler for iOS is one of the three official iOS apps of Last.fm, the very social network that originated the idea of scrobbling. The other two apps are Festivals and Last.fm for iOS.
Scrobbling, of course, refers to the automatic addition of the tracks you play to your Last.fm profile. Naturally, Scrobbler for iOS specializes in scrobbling. A lot of it. And in real time at that.
As stated in the app's App Store description, Scrobbler for iOS is "a fully-featured music player that helps you discover connections between the tracks in your iTunes library through playlists, deep artist information, and more." And yeah, in case you've forgotten, it also scrobbles.
As mentioned, the app has just gotten its first ever major update. This update delivers the following improvements:
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Scrobbler for iOS is available in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]

- Scrobbler now remembers which playlist you were looking at last.
- Improved layout for viewing playlist tracks.
- Fixed issue where not all tracks would play if shuffle was on.

- Improved "More Like This" track-based playlists.
- General UI and functionality tweaks.
