Do.one Can Now Nag You To Do That One Important Thing You Need To Get Done

March 10, 2013
Luke Freeman has gotten another important thing done for his popular GTD app: release version 2.1 of Do.one. Do.one 2.1 is indeed now available, and it delivers a number of improvements. First, there's a new feature called "nagging." This feature will remind or "nag" you three times until you dismiss the notification. If you really want to make sure that you don't miss a particularly important task, then Do.one's nagging feature is for you. Note, though, that nagging is included in Do.one's pro pack, a $0.99 in-app purchase that was introduced in the app's previous update. Another new feature in Do.one 2.1 is the ability to cross items off as done. To cross an item off, just swipe up on the main screen to access the new Action menu. Another thing to note: a bug has been found in crossing off items. According to Freeman, "Crossing off works, it just won't stick if the app restarts, sorry." Fortunately, a new update that squashes the bug is already on its way. As it happens, the current 2.1 update includes big fixes for autocorrect, notifications, and other aspects of Do.one. Also included in the update are the return of the simple calendar layout and the introduction of new fonts that serve as good alternatives to the default Avenir. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, Do.one 2.1 is available now in the App Store for free. As Ramy pointed out in his review of the app, Do.one is "all about picking that one important task you need to get done." If I may suggest one important task you need to get done today, it's to download or update to the new version of Do.one. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
