How Good Are You At Remembering Faces? Find Out In iMadeFace's FaceMatch
March 21, 2013
The popular "face-making" app iMadeFace has just received a rather "playful" update.
Previously featured here on AppAdvice as a Quirky App of the Day, iMadeFace is a fun little app that lets you create faces from a variety of elements.
And through the app's latest update, more than 120 new elements, including different types of beards, hair styles, eyes, and lips, have just been added to iMadeFace.
But that's not the biggest addition delivered to iMadeFace by its new update. The biggest addition would have to be FaceMatch, a brand new game that's built into the app.
FaceMatch is a simple game where all you have to do is to find the only matching pair among a grid filled with faces.
The game comes in three modes, namely, casual, challenge, and endless.
In casual mode, you can take all the time you need to pick the correct pair. In challenge mode, you must find the pair within the given time limit.
Finally, in endless mode, you can also take all the time you need to locate the two paired faces. But a new row of faces is added to the grid every time you find a pair.
And every time you find a pair in any mode of FaceMatch, you earn coins, which you can use to unlock the new pack brought by the update.
The new pack is called the Bubble Pack, and it lets you add cute emotion signs over faces.
Note that unlike the other packs in the app, the Bubble Pack cannot be unlocked via in-app purchase. Rather, it can be unlocked only using coins (6,000 coins, to be exact) earned while playing FaceMatch.
The latest update to iMadeFace also introduces a redesigned share panel.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, the new version of iMadeFace is available now in the App Store for free.
