Numbytes, Y-Tech's math game for kids and kids at heart, has just received its first ever update. As Finn and Jake of "Adventure Time" would say, "Mathematical!" Most notably, Numbytes' first update brings universal support. Released in November last year as an iPad-only app, the app has now been enhanced to be compatible with iPhone and iPod touch as well. So, if you and your little one have been having fun with Numbytes on your iPad but wish you could also have fun with it on your iPhone or iPod touch, then you're in luck. As the game's chapter 1 goes, Numbytes lets you or your kid have fun with numbers as you take on the role of the intrepid hero of the kingdom of Numeria. Numeria is under siege by evil Numbytes called Envytes. And it's your task to protect Numeria using your (presumably) amazing mathematical powers. Now compatible with iPhone and iPod touch as well as iPad, Numbytes is available in the App Store for $3.99. Get it now as it's expected to increase in price once the game's chapter 2 update arrives. The upcoming update is said to include new monsters, new skills, and character customization options. For more apps of a similar bent, check out our Fun & Educational Math Apps for Kids AppList.
