Oh Snap! You Can Now Snap And Edit Photos Right Within Snapguide
March 13, 2013
The popular DIY app Snapguide has just snapped up a new update.
The latest update to Snapguide delivers the obligatory bug fixes along with a couple of significant improvements.
One of these improvements is the introduction of photo editing features. Two photo editing features, to be exact: rotation and auto-enhancement.
When creating a guide, you can now tap a photo to delete it, add a caption to it, or edit it. As mentioned, you can either rotate it, auto-enhance it, or both.
That's pretty much all there is to Snapguide's newly launched photo editing features. So, don't expect to see filters, frames, and all that jazz just yet.
Come to think of it, I like that all those supposedly snazzy photo editing features are not supported in Snapguide. Frankly, the last thing I want to see in the app is a photo of a poached egg with a washed-out filter and an elaborate frame. I want my desired guide in a snap, and I want it clean and simple.
As for the newly updated app's other improvement, Snapguide now supports filtering guides you've liked by topic. So, it's now easier to find a specific favorite guide of yours.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Snapguide is available in the App Store for free.
Released in March last year, Snapguide went on to be hailed as one of AppAdvice's Top 10 Best Free iPad Apps of 2012.
