'TV Sidekick' App Zeebox Updated With Profile Pages, Tag Previews And More
March 9, 2013
A month after introducing an automated advertising platform that may or may not be a boon to its users, Zeebox has now updated its namesake iOS app with more improvements that are surely user-friendly.
Zeebox for iPhone and iPad, the official universal iOS app of the second-screen service touted as "your TV sidekick," now includes profile pages. Profile pages display what Zeeboxers are watching, booking, talking about, and more.
Also included in the updated app are Zeetag previews. These previews offer sneak peeks at what's in store in the app's live tags. Should you be enticed enough to want a closer look, just click on them to see more.
The improved app also features improved cast and crew lists. Now you can tap to get information on the people that worked both in front of and behind the camera on your favorite shows.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, the new version of Zeebox for iOS is available now in the App Store for free.
Note that after updating, Zeebox may begin asking you to log in to Twitter in order to see some tweets in the app.
Released on iOS in late September last year, Zeebox comes highly recommended by us here at AppAdvice, as evidenced by our hailing the app as one of the Top 10 Best Free iPad Apps of 2012.
