Cydia Tweak: Activate Google Now Outside The U.S. With GoogleNowEnabler

May 1, 2013
Google Search users living outside of the United States have the option of activating Google Now on a jailbroken iDevice using a new jailbreak tweak. The package, called GoogleNowEnabler, launched just two days after Google Search 3.0, which incorporates Google Now within the universal app, appeared in the App Store. GoogleSearchEnabler is free to download in the Cydia Store, and no traces of the installed jailbreak tweak can be located either on the iDevice's Home screen, or within its Settings app. Rather, Google Now will quite simply gain functionality for those living outside of the United States once the jailbreak tweak has been installed. So far, GoogleNowEnabler has received numerous positive reviews from international users. Just yesterday, we told you how to activate Google Now in Google Apps for Business accounts. This method, however, does not require a jailbreak, and can instead be configured from within the administrator's account settings. If you live outside of the United States, consider downloading GoogleNowEnabler. As mentioned, the jailbreak tweak is available in the Cydia Store free of charge, via the ModMyi repository, and you'll obviously need to have Google Search installed on your iDevice in order to access Google Now for iOS.
