Cydia Tweak: biteSMS Updated To Add Quick Compose Widget

The popular jailbreak app, biteSMS, has just received an update. However, if jailbreakers were hoping for a Facebook Chat Heads-like feature to launch with the updated application, as previously anticipated, then disappointment is unfortunately on the horizon.
Instead, the "Text Heads" feature announced yesterday appears rather to be a "Quick Compose Widget," which allows users to compose new messages from within Notification Center. Though the widget does display profile images for contacts (as pictured above), it isn't quite the iOS-wide Chat Heads feature we got excited about in our previous article.
As outlined in the change log for biteSMS 7.6 beta 1:
NEW: Quick Compose Widget. Just a simple convenient way to launch a Quick Compose with a favorite contact (managed via Phone > Favorites). It’s a Notification Center Widget (managed via Apple > Settings > Notifications > Quick Compose Widget).In order to download the beta update for biteSMS, be sure to add the biteSMS beta repository to your Cydia application.
