Cydia Tweak: RemoteTweet Adds Social Sharing Options To The Remote App

RemoteTweet is a brand new jailbreak tweak that can add social sharing options to Apple's Remote app. As of this minute, the package is available to download free of charge in the Cydia Store, via the BigBoss repository.
Once downloaded and installed, jailbreakers can share the artist name, song title, and album of the track they're currently listening to on a desktop computer, via the Remote app. (As a reminder, Apple's Remote application allows iDevice owners to control iTunes on a PC or Mac using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.) With RemoteTweet, it's possible to share to Twitter via iOS 5's Twitter integration, or via the third-party Twitter, Tweetbot, and Echofon apps.
In addition, users can also share the track to Facebook, via iOS 6's Facebook integration.
Jailbreakers can activate the pop-up sharing window by either touching the "info" button in the bottom-left of the iDevice's screen, or by holding on the information bar at the top of the Remote app. The pop-up window will include a precomposed update, though users have the option of customizing this in the Settings application.
It's also possible to choose which social network RemoteTweet posts to from within the Settings app.
As mentioned, RemoteTweet is available to download for free in the Cydia Store, via the BigBoss repository. For more information on the jailbreak tweak, be sure to check out our video walkthrough, which is embedded below.
