Finally, Draw Something 2 Now Available In The US App Store And Everywhere Else

April 25, 2013
At long last, all of us can now play the highly anticipated sequel to the hit drawing guessing game Draw Something, even if we're neither in Sweden nor in Canada. Draw Something 2 launched in the App Store late last month, but only in Sweden, where the original game first reached the top of the App Store charts. Then, last week, the new game launched in Canada, where Zynga, which bought Draw Something creator OMGPOP last year, frequently holds soft launches for its games. Now, Draw Something 2 has finally been made available for all, i.e., it's now available globally in the App Store. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. A markedly significant improvement on the original game, Draw Something 2 has the following key features:
    • Gallery A collection of all of your favorite drawings in one place • Social Feed Follow your friends, celebs, and discover new artists. Stay up to-date on all the latest drawings and games from your feed. • All New Ways to Play Earn coins for playing the Daily Guess and Daily Draw • Tons of New Words Over 5,000 new words! Including all new 9 letter words and phrases for daily draw • More Drawing Tools Limitless creativity at your fingertips! Try out the Pixel pen, Pattern pencil, Stamps, Marker, Highlighter, Crayon and more. Plus, choose from over 100 vibrant colors • Free Draw Draw anything. Try out your new tools, create and share something amazing • Restricted Mode Disable the Social Feed and gallery using a PIN. You can still play turns with friends and contacts, but you won't see any social content
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later, Draw Something 2 is available now in the App Store for $2.99. Draw Something 2 Free is also available in the App Store, and it's for free, of course. The paid version of the game has no interstitial ads and entitles you to a free Sparkle Pen, free star and coin bonus, and thousands of new words or "somethings" to draw.
