Grab Your Arc Reactor And Play Gameloft's Official Iron Man 3 Game Right Now
April 25, 2013
Coinciding with the international theatrical premiere of the movie, the official game of "Iron Man 3" has been released in the App Store. Developed and published by Gameloft, the game is called, rather predictably, Iron Man 3 - The Official Game.
We had our first look of the game late last month, when Gameloft debuted its first trailer. With that, we learned that Iron Man 3 is an endless runner or, more accurately, an endless flyer with some action-packed battles thrown in.
Then, last week, Gameloft released another trailer. That trailer highlighted the titular character's different powered suits of armor, which are offered as upgrades in the decidedly freemium game.

Iron Man 3 features 18 of these suits, which are taken from the "Iron Man" movies and comics. These include the Mark II, War Machine, Iron Patriot, and Silver Centurion.
The game also features three different locations with dynamically generated levels: Malibu Shores, New York City, and China. In addition, it pits you, as Iron Man, against four supervillains, namely, Crimson Dynamo, Ezekiel Stane, Living Laser, and M.O.D.O.K.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Iron Man 3 - The Official Game is available now in the App Store for free. Note that the game has an iron-heavy download size of over 600MB.
