Madmonster, Chillingo's recently launched $0.99 iOS game, has just received its first update. In version 1.1 of the application, the app's developer has added support for both the iPhone 3GS and first-generation iPad, and users also have the option of linking Madmonster with their iCloud account.
In our review of Madmonster, we described the application as an "addictive monster smasher that will be quite hard to put down." As a reminder, here's how Chillingo introduces the app in its release notes for Madmonster:
They came, they saw, they destroyed. The menacing Wolfy and his gang of monsters are wreaking havoc everywhere they go. Help them tear up each city, rip through military defenses, knock down buildings and take to the skies to cause a ruckus among the stars. The more chaos you cause, the greater the rewards. Show off your destructive side in this anarchic mobile monster mash. It's great to see that in version 1.1 of Madmonster, first-gen iPad and iPhone 3GS owners can join in the fun, and that iCloud support has been added to the application. If you'd like to take Chillingo's Madmonster for a spin, it's available to download in the App Store for $0.99, and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
