Twitter has just updated its popular video-sharing social network Vine with two new additions.
First up, version 1.1 of the app now features support for front-facing cameras. That should definitely allow some more creative videos from users.
The front-facing camera view can be activated by tapping the small button in the bottom left corner of the video recording interface.
Also, users can mention other people in both posts and comments. Any mentions will appear in the Activity section.
Vine is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch. It can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
As my colleague Bryan M. Wolfe pointed out earlier this week, Vine continues to remain popular in the App Store. It’s currently No. 3 on the free app charts.
An update earlier this month to Vine brought featured hashtags to the service.
