Add Interactive Text And Video Tags To Your Photos With ThingLink

May 25, 2013
There's definitely no shortage of photo-sharing apps in the App Store. But despite their abundance, most of these apps may be seen as mere variations of the photo-filtering setup popularized by Hipstamatic and Instagram. This makes it all the more nicer, then, when a markedly different photo-sharing app comes along. Case in point: the newly released ThingLink. Yes, ThingLink is yet another photo-sharing app with an integrated social network. But what sets it apart from others is that it lets you share photos with interactive text and video tags:
Use ThingLink to instantly add video and text to images. Create unforgettable greetings, interactive travel photos, and capture best moments. Share images to your friends on Twitter or Facebook — and communicate in new ways. ThingLink introduces a new, richer way to share the world through photos. Touch the Future of Images. Download the app now and start tagging.
ThingLink lets you take a new photo right from the app or select an already existing one from your photo library. Then, it allows you to add interactive tags to your photo. An interactive tag can be a simple line of text, a Twitter handle, a video taken with your iDevice's camera or chosen from your library, or a video straight from YouTube. Note that you can add any number and any combination of tags in your photo. Just tap on a spot in your photo to add a tag. If you'd like to reposition a tag, just drag it around until you're satisfied with its new location. You can post your tagged image onto your own ThingLink gallery and simultaneously share it via Facebook, Twitter, or email. Alternatively, you can just set your tagged image as private. To take full advantage of ThingLink, you might want to join the ThingLink community and check out your own channel at Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, ThingLink is available now in the App Store for free.
