AT&T's 4G LTE network is now available in five new U.S. markets.
The new markets are: Sedalia and Warrensburg, Miss.; Palestine and Jacksonville, Texas; and Manhattan, Kan. If you own an AT&T-powered 4G-ready smartphone or tablet, such as the iPhone 5 or iPad mini, the carrier's LTE network should now be appearing on your mobile device. As a reminder, 4G LTE offers users cellular download speeds up to an impressive 10x faster than 3G.
At the beginning of last month, AT&T expanded its LTE coverage to include 14 new locations. As of this minute, the carrier's 4G network is available in a total of 209 markets. For information concerning AT&T's coverage, see the carrier's updated coverage map.
