MiniPlayer is a music player inspired by iTunes that was released a while back. This sleek little music player floats above any content on your screen, but can easily be hidden away with a swipe to the left or right.
This pint-sized player will follow you anywhere within iOS and keep the music right at your finger tips. A new version of MiniPlayer has been released in Cydia and it adds a couple of desirable features.
One of my favorite new features is the ability to search through your music library right from MiniPlayer. Tap on the magnifying glass icon to pull up a keyboard and search through your tunes. Another great addition to MiniPlayer is the new scrubber that will allow you to seek through the song that’s currently playing. This tweak also supports Spotify.
Overall, MiniPlayer is a must-have tweak for audiophiles. It puts your music library and controls anywhere in iOS. For a brief overview on MiniPlayer’s functionality, check out our video overview here and take a look at the screenshots below.
Currently, MiniPlayer is available in the BigBoss repository for $1.99. Check it out and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments.
