Get More Information From Product, Recipe And Movie Pins In Pinterest For iOS

A week after it got updated with push notifications and other features, Pinterest for iOS has already received another update.
The latest update to the official iOS app of the popular pinboard-style photo-sharing site adds more information to pins.
Note, though, that additional information is initially available with pins pinned from Pinterest's partner websites, including eBay, Etsy, Epicurious, Martha Stewart Living, Netflix, and Rotten Tomatoes.
Products pins for clothes, furniture, and gifts can now carry information on pricing, availability, and where to buy. Recipe pins can now include cooking time, ingredients, and servings. And movie pins can now be accompanied by content ratings, cast members, and more.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, the new version of Pinterest is available now in the App Store for free.
Pinterest launched on iOS a couple of years ago as an app optimized for iPhone and iPod touch only. But it finally went universal with native iPad support in October last year.
Aside from push notifications, the app's previous update added the ability to send pins, search to receive suggestions, invite friends to group boards, and mention friends in comments.
In addition to making pins more informative, the Pinterest team has begun making the Pin It button available in mobile apps. Some of the first iOS apps to feature the Pin It button are Etsy, Modcloth, Snapguide, and TED.
