Great news, Junk Jack fans. The popular Minecraft-like 2-D sandbox game for iOS is soon to spawn a sequel app, Junk Jack X, according to its developer, Pixbits. From what we understand, the forthcoming application will be an all-new installment in the series, and will include an enhanced multiplayer mode, updated graphics, and much more. As outlined over at Pixbits' blog, Junk Jack X should hit the App Store in either the third or fourth quarter of 2013, and once available fans of the series will be able to enjoy an improved Game Center- and Bluetooth-powered multiplayer mode, enhanced character customization, and support for a larger number of worlds. Furthermore, the app will also feature liquids, a fifth slot for equippable items, and improved crafting options. Finally, Junk Jack's graphics will be greatly improved in the new "X" sequel, and the application will also feature planets and different themes, which will combine with an adventure mode of gameplay. Excited? I'll bet you are. For more information on Junk Jack X, take a look at the announcement post at Pixbits' blog.
