Readmill Gains More Font Sizes, Highlight Deletion And Other Improvements
May 21, 2013
Readmill, my favorite e-reading app bar none, has received yet another noteworthy update.
The latest update to Readmill brings, most notably, more font sizes. Cue collective "Yay!" of triumph and approval from thousands of Readmill users, myself included.
Previously, Readmill provided only three font size options, the smallest of which could be too small to some and the largest too large. But now, the app offers two additional options for better font size flexibility.
The new Readmill update also adds the ability to swipe to delete a highlight in the highlight list. Note, though, that this ability is supported in the app's iPhone version only. But I expect it's going to be added to the iPad version soon.
Moreoever, the update makes for faster rendering in books with many highlights and fixes a bug that includes extra words when highlighting.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, the new version of Readmill is available now in the App Store for free.
Readmill was released in June 2011 as an app optimized for iPad only. But it finally went universal with support for iPhone and iPod touch last February.
Also last February, I published a couple of posts focused on Readmill for my Shelf Control column.
