PopCap Games co-founder John Vechey announced at E3 2013 that a sequel to Peggle, "the ultimate casual gaming experience for iPhone," is set to launch later this year.
TouchArcade reports that the news came towards the end of a Plants vs. Zombies 2 demonstration. However, little information concerning the forthcoming app, Peggle 2, has been disclosed: "no footage, no images, and no platforms were announced," the website explains.
PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies 2, another sequel app, is set to launch in the App Store on July 18.
We'll keep you updated with further information on Peggle 2 as we receive it.
In the meantime, both Peggle for iPhone and Peggle HD for iPad can be downloaded for $0.99.
