Two New 'iPhone mini' Photos Leaked
June 3, 2013
Two new photos purportedly showing the rear panel of the so-called “iPhone mini” have leaked. The photos show a panel a little bit thicker than the iPhone 5 with a curved back that looks a lot like the iPhone 3G/3GS, according to Apple.Pro.
As you can see from the photos, the handset includes a Lightning connector and just so happens to be black. A previous rumor had indicated that Apple would only offer the so-called “iPhone 5S” in this color. Instead, Macotakara had said that the iPhone mini would come in navy, gold, orange, white, and gray.
As per usual, there is no way to confirm the authenticity of the photos presented here. However, it should be noted that the design is similar to what we've been hearing about the iPhone mini in recent months -- besides the color, of course.
The first budget iPhone is likely to be released this fall alongside Apple’s next flagship handset. Rumors have suggested that Apple may price the model at under $200.
