Wondering if Apple's iOS 7 can be jailbroken? Well, the answer, according to a recent Twitter update from popular jailbreak developer Ryan Petrich (@rpetrich), is: "yes it can."
Petrich's post, which included the above image of his Activator jailbreak tweak running on an iOS 7-powered iPod touch, reads:
System version too new? pic.twitter.com/i9yxKIvJHv — Ryan Petrich (@rpetrich) July 1, 2013Of course, this doesn't suggest that a jailbreak method for iOS 7 is in development, or that one will be available once the software update launches later this year. Instead, Petrich's Twitter update demonstrates that an iOS 7 jailbreak is, at the very least, possible. Whether a public release will be developed in time for the launch of iOS 7 remains to be seen.
