Cydia Tweak: How To Launch Web Pages With An Activator Action
by Joe White

Have you ever wished it was possible to launch a preassigned Web page with a simple Activator action? Well, thanks to one new jailbreak tweak, now you can.
Called Activate Link, this recent addition to the Cydia Store allows jailbreakers to assign Activator actions to up to five separate links, thereby making it possible for users to launch their favorite Web pages from an iPhone's Home screen, quickly and easily.
Chosen Web pages can be assigned actions in the Settings app, and since the jailbreak tweak works with Activator, users can configure actions ranging from a press and hold of the status bar to a four-fingered tap on their iDevice's screen.
What's more, jailbreakers can also connect URL schemes to Activate Link, allowing users to launch the Twitter pop-up box, for example, upon performing a preassigned Activator action.
