First introduced all the way back at CES 2013 in Las Vegas, Griffin’s PowerDock 5 is now available to purchase. And as the name suggests, the device allows users to charge and store up to five iPhones, iPads, or iPods from a single power source.
Along with a space-saving design perfect for a countertop or desktop, each charging bay provides up to 10 watts of power per device. And each slot is large enough to fit a device with a rugged case. The charger also allows devices to be charged with their original cables.
An illuminated status light lets users know when the PowerDock5 is powered and ready to charge iOS devices.
The PowerDock 5 retails for $99.99 and can be purchased directly through Griffin.
As an owner of numerous iOS devices, the PowerDock 5 definitely looks like an interesting choice. I’d love to be able to charge all of my iPads and iPhones in one place instead of having cables strewn throughout my house.
