Simple Note Taking App Vesper Adds TextExpander Support
July 17, 2013
The simple and elegant note taking app Vesper has received another update.
To be sure, the latest update to Vesper delivers only one improvement. But it's a notable update in that its sole improvement is none other than the addition of TextExpander support.
TextExpander is a popular utility app that automatically expands custom keyboard shortcuts into frequently used text snippets. And now, you can make use of your TextExpander snippets when composing your notes within Vesper.
This update is the third update to Vesper, which was released just last month. Its first update, which arrived a couple of weeks ago, brought easier tag creation and a bevy of iOS 7-like interface enhancements. The second one, which came out just a couple of days ago, brought a bug fix for text editing in iOS 7.
The new version of Vesper is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $4.99 download. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.

Vesper is developed by Q Branch, which includes John Gruber (of Daring Fireball fame), Brent Simmons (MarsEdit and NetNewsWire), and Dave Wiskus (formerly of Black Pixel).
