YouTube Capture Gets Support For Accounts With Multiple Channels And More

July 9, 2013
Google has updated its free YouTube Catcher app, adding support for YouTube accounts which run more than one channel, and improving compatibility with iOS 5-powered iDevices. As a reminder, the application allows users to capture, edit, and share videos to YouTube using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. It promises to offer easy, fast recording; the ability to apply a large number of edits to captured video; and allows users to share to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and YouTube simultaneously. In YouTube Capture 1.5, however, a number of changes have been made to the app. These include:
  • Support for YouTube accounts with multiple channels.
  • Better uploading on iOS 5 devices.
  • General improvements.
Since the beginning of the year, Google has added support for 1080p uploads, wireless streaming, iPad optimization, and HD previews to its YouTube Capture app. Of course, users will be pleased to see that the Android-maker is continuing to improve its application, which first launched in the App Store back in December 2012. As mentioned, YouTube Capture can be downloaded in the App Store free of charge, and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
