As we’re about to turn the calendar to September, it’s time to once again take a guess on when Apple will unveil new products. This analysis is based on what we've been hearing in recent days.
iOS 7
Tuesday, Sept. 10 is almost certainly the day Apple will unveil next-generation iPhones, and the first public release of iOS 7. The biggest question now is whether Apple will release iOS 7 for the iPad and iPad mini on the same day.
We’re guessing that they won’t.
Our best bet: Apple’s next iOS version will launch for the iPhone/iPod touch between Sept. 11-18. The iPad version will be delayed until October.

We’ve heard very little about next-generation iPads in the past few weeks, and there is probably a very good reason for this. Like in 2012, Apple will delay the launch of new tablets until October. When the new models are announced, expect a new design for the iPad 5 and an iPad mini 2 with a Retina display.
Our best bet: The iPad 5 and second-generation iPad mini will debut the third week in October. Circle Friday, Nov. 1 as launch day.

Development on OS X Mavericks seems much more advanced than that for iOS 7 on the iPad. As a result, new Macs could be coming in September, not in October as originally thought.
Our best bet: The new Mac Pro will launch in September, along with new MacBook Pro and iMac models. OS X Mavericks will launch as a free download in the Mac App Store at the same time.

New iPods
Very little is known about new iPods. Most likely, whatever changes Apple makes to the iPod touch, iPod nano, and iPod shuffle will be under the hood.
Our best bet: Apple will announce new iPods at its October event.
