AnyList Introduces Premium Subscription Featuring New Photo Attachment Feature

August 16, 2013
AnyList, a popular grocery shopping list app that's listed as a "notable app" in AppAdvice's Grocery List Helpers AppGuide, has received yet another major update. Following this new update, favorites in AnyList are now stored on a per-list basis and are now shared if the underlying list itself is shared. Additionally, they now show up in auto-suggestions, giving you quick access to any item you've saved as a favorite as you type. AnyList now also remembers recently used items so that you can easily browse them and add them to your list. But perhaps the most notable new addition to AnyList is the ability to add photos to list items. AnyList developer Purple Cover notes:
Photos can now be added to list items. For shared lists, everyone can see the photos. Want to make sure the person doing the shopping gets the right package? Take a photo of it and they’ll know exactly what to look for. This feature requires AnyList Complete.
Now, you might be wondering, "What's AnyList Complete?" Well, AnyList Complete is a new subscription that, as its name suggests, unlocks the complete feature set of AnyList. Currently, AnyList Complete unlocks the new photo attachment feature and provides priority support, but more premium benefits are said to be introduced in the future. The good thing about AnyList Complete is that one purchase of the subscription covers you and your entire household. That is, you can share your subscription with other members of your household, including your immediate relatives or roommates. An AnyList Complete subscription costs $19.99 per year. The new version of AnyList is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. AnyList launched back in May last year as an app optimized for iPhone and iPod touch only. But it was finally updated with universal support and native iPad compatibility last May.
