It's Time To Connect Your IMAP Email Accounts To The Cookoo Watch's iOS App

The official iOS companion of the Cookoo smart watch has just received a significant update.
Most notably, the latest update to the Cookoo app adds support for IMAP email notifications. This comes just a few days after a similar feature was added to the iOS companion app of Pebble, Cookoo's top competitor in the smart watch arena.
With the new version of the Cookoo app, you can now connect your IMAP email accounts for you to receive email alerts directly to your Cookoo watch and read the first lines of your new emails in the the app's notification center.
The app's notification center has also been improved to allow reading of forwarded alert text.

The new Cookoo app update also includes optimizations for longer iDevice battery life and brings back support for demo notifications and alerts.
The new version of the Cookoo app is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later.
The Cookoo app is, of course, compatible with the Cookoo smart watch. The device is available from its official website in pink, silver, or black for $129.99 and in limited-edition green for $249.99.
Like the Pebble, the Cookoo is a product of a successful Kickstarter campaign.
