LinkedIn Contacts Gains New Features As It Connects With Its First Update
August 10, 2013
LinkedIn Contacts, the dedicated contacts management app from the popular professional social network, has just connected with its first ever update.
Released last April, LinkedIn Contacts allows LinkedIn users to bring all of their contacts or "connections," whether professional or otherwise, in one place. In addition to LinkedIn, the app supports importing contacts from Google, Yahoo, and Outlook.
Since its launch, LinkedIn Contacts has been offering a number of key features, including alerts for job changes and birthdays, recent conversations, Evernote syncing, and TripIt suggestions.
And with the new version of the app, you can now view location changes and work anniversaries for all of your contacts. You can now also comment directly on LinkedIn for work anniversaries as well as job changes.
The app's first update also brings support for adding one-time and recurring reminders for contacts. Moreover, it adds the ability to edit or delete previous notes and details of how, when, and where you met a connection.
The new version of LinkedIn Contacts is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later.
