New Boxes Update Adds eBay Integration, Private Info Screen And More
August 22, 2013
Boxes, the handsomely designed app that helps you organize, track, and sell your stuff, has just received another major update.
Released last June, Boxes "unboxed" its first update last month. That update added support for public contact information and private boxes, among other improvements.
Now, Boxes' second update delivers even more improvements, the most notable of which is eBay integration.
To enable eBay integration in Boxes, just tap the eBay logo opposite "Sell my item elsewhere" in the edit screen of any item that you've placed for sale. Once active, eBay integration lets you automatically list any item on eBay for sale at a fixed price or via auction, in addition to putting it on sale within Boxes.

The latest update to Boxes also introduces a private info screen, where you can add item details that are visible only to you. In this area, you can add a photo of your receipt and enter the original purchase price and date, warranty length, and miscellaneous notes. You can also keep track of your item's quantity and unique identifiers, including UPC, serial number, model number, and SKU, in the new private info screen.
The new Boxes update also adds support for viewing public boxes on a user's profile and zooming into photos with just one tap.
Also including fixes for issues involving Facebook and Twitter connectivity, the new version of Boxes is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.
