Oink, Oink! Angry Birds Spinoff Bad Piggies Is Apple's Free App Of The Week

Rovio has been a perennial presence in Apple's Free App of the Week promotions in the App Store. The Finnish entertainment company's Angry Birds Rio, original Angry Birds game, Angry Birds Space, and Angry Birds Star Wars were each featured as the Free App of the Week in January, March, May, and July, respectively. And now, the spotlight is on Rovio's Angry Birds spinoff game, Bad Piggies, which has gone free for the first time since its launch in September last year. That's right: following today's App Store refresh, Bad Piggies has been named as Apple's Free App of the Week. Obviously, you can download it from now through next week at no cost, instead of having to pay its regular price of $0.99 each for its iPhone and iPad editions.
