If you’ve ever wanted to become a real DJ, all you need is an iOS device and the recently announced DDJ-WeGo2 controller from Pioneer Electronics.
With an included Lightning cable, music experts can connect to an iPhone 5, iPad mini, or fourth-generation iPad. All users need to do is fire up the popular djay 2 app from algoriddim and get ready to rock with music from an iOS device.
Here’s a quick video showing some of the controller’s feature. Click here if you can’t see it.
Along with two jog platters, the controller is highlighted by Pulse Control that provides DJs with visual prompts thanks to a variety of colored lights on the platters. The DDJ-WeGo2 is also powered by USB so users don’t have to haul around another external power brick.
The controller’s dual-purpose grip is designed to easily transport the unit while also functioning as a stand for the iPhone or iPad.
Aspiring DJs can select from one of three colors for their controller – black, white, or red. It will retail for $429 and be available in October.
