SoundHound, the popular music-tagging application for iOS, has just been updated to version 5.3, adding a number of useful features to the free app. Now, music fans can access a "Music Map" from within the app, which displays the location of recent music tags and gives iDevice owners an idea of what people nearby are listening to. SoundHound 5.3 is available to download in the App Store free of charge, though a paid, ad-free version, SoundHound ∞, is also available for $6.99.
