The Dark Knight Rises With iPhone 5 Support In Batman Arkham City Lockdown
August 31, 2013
One of the most acclaimed action adventure games on iOS has finally been updated with full-screen support for Apple's flagship handset.
I'm referring to Batman Arkham City Lockdown, which has just received its long-awaited iPhone 5 optimization update.
Indeed, through this new update, which happens to be the game's first update in well over a year, Batman Arkham City Lockdown has been optimized for the 4-inch screen of the iPhone 5 and, by extension, the fifth-generation iPod touch.
The update also adds Korean language support and delivers some minor bug fixes.
The previous update to Batman Arkham City Lockdown was issued in April last year. That update added Retina iPad support, along with a new mission featuring Poison Ivy and Robin.
The new version of Batman Arkham City Lockdown is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $5.99 download. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.0 or later.
Released in December 2011, Batman Arkham City Lockdown challenges players to take down escaped inmates, including some of the Dark Knight's most iconic villains.
